Two big Sweet Chestnuts removed in Knutsford, Cheshire.

These trees were in the way of a permitted development. They had to be dismantled because of overhead cables. They were brought down in sections until they were low enough to fell under the cable. The customer kept the logs for his fire and we cut them up ready for him to process with his hydraulic log splitter. If this was our property we would have liked to keep these trees, as sweet chestnuts are the ones that are traditionally roasted and eaten at Christmas!
