We are CSCS accredited, enabling us to carry out tree and hedge work on active building sites. We constantly update our working methods to ensure they are up to date and won’t be bested by anyone else.
Our risk management strategies are detailed in our comprehensive work method statements. Site-specific risk assessment meetings are standard practice and proper pre-work planning ensures you can send us anywhere and we will get on and carry out your project most safely and effectively as possible.
Whether working on a tiny apple tree, a major site clearance, or a crane job; we manage the safety of all our work to ensure risk is mitigated. We never leave the ground without a rescue plan and there is always a forestry-trained first aider on site. Whatever the job, not only have we got it covered, we have it properly planned, insured, and managed.
Woodland management is an area of great interest and passion and we aim to offer the most competitive rates possible in our mission to meet our responsibility to the protection and proper management of UK woodland.
I studied for a year to gain Royal Forestry Society accreditation. I have a detailed understanding of woodland management and how to approach woodlands as eco systems. We also know how to protect and promote habitats and biodiversity, and how and why it is imperative to promote and facilitate diversity in age ranges across your woodland tree stock.
With the UK’s natural (non-commercial) woodland cover at under 7% of the total landmass, the need to protect is obvious, promote and support woodland owners to manage, expand and where possible plant new woodland.
