Beech tree removal in Gawsworth, Macclesfield.

We concluded that the safest way to remove this huge diseased beech tree, was to fell it straight over the customer’s brand-new road. The tree was hollow and we were unsure whether it would be safe enough to climb and dismantle. First, the heavy lower back and side limbs were removed and lowered to the ground to ensure the tree was heavily weighted in favour of the direction of fell. We used the limbs and branches to create a huge crash mat in order to protect the customer’s road. The tree was safely felled and cut up ready for collection by a biofuel company to be recycled. Everything was left tidy, some logs were left for the customer but most importantly everything was done safely without detriment to the road.
